Ephesus is where St. John moved to after the death of Jesus. It is here where he wrote his gospel. I went to his tomb while here, as well as the last known home of the Virgin Mary. These places, regardless of the religion, both had a strange energy about them. It was strange, but at the same time soothing...

I decided to take down the previous posting of this image, and replace it with this version.

I like the new crop and the high contrast. It might be a bit over sharpened. It works very well however.

have to disagree with the others
i don't like the BW version, it's overexposed to hell in my opinion
BW is a nice choice but i don't like the postprocessing you used here

i agree a bit with blackshad.. not to hell but a little over though... ovreexpose would have looked great but not that much.. great shot though!! I would have preffered it softer. nice work!!!

The cropping looks better......but the highlights lack details.....maybe you pushed them too much?

The original post is very nice!
The post edited one is not.
Simple as that.

You pushed it to far. The overexposure is made from post editing.

I would redo it again.... (converting it into bw that is)
